hi all,
first of all, please excuse my low-level English, i'm from France. I'm trying to lockdown some features of KDE desktop for our GNU/Debian parc. The machines run Debian testing "Squeeze" and KDE 4.4.3 is installed. The reason of my post here is that I didn't succeed to lock KDE settings to users. I've tried to put kdesktoprc and plasma-desktop-appletsrc into folders that this command returns :
Could you please, guide me to achieve this ? Thanks a lot |

Thanks for the link, I've briefly read it. I'm mostly interested about editing files than using a GUI that's not already "finished". But I think the most important from his page is that I understood that KIOSK framework is indeed ported to KDE4. So I'll try more to get it work. Regards |
