Can the Meta-information of a file be showed in the information panel or tooltips (being that they seem to be the same thing) whitout Nepomuk/Strigi?

This is automatically done in KDE 4.5 and later. Metadata will be displayed even if the file is unindexed by Strigi, or Strigi is disabled.

Well, i do have KDE 4.5.1 and i don't see the metadata.

Strigi has to be disabled? i don't see the menu options to disable it in system settings (USE flag semantic-desktop disabled)

Do i need to enable Semantic-desktop, recompile KDE and then disable Strigi and Nepomukl to get this behavior?

Strigi can be disabled, but I think nepomuk needs to be enabled.
