Show brightness slide

Dear All,

I just installed Gentoo with KDE 4.4.5.
When I press my up & down brightness buttons kde doesn't show the brightness slide. However for the audio it works fine.

What should I do?

Can you try with KDE 4.5 please? I think is was added in 4.5.
