i just compiled and ran kde 4.4.5 on openbsd.
the panel clock is at the moment pretty unusable to me. instead of showing me the system time, it is just showing me "local" time. trying to set it to a different timezone is impossible. the timezone list, with AREA/REGION/COMMENT just gives me UTC as the only option. how can i fix this? |

I highly suspect you don't have "ktimezoned" installed on your system. It is part of kdebase-runtime, which is a requirement of all KDE applications.
To see if it is running:

EDIT: but recompiling ktimezoned did the trick. thank you. |
