Hi bcooksley thx for your reply. Sry, i forgot to mention that. This is only reproducible with my main user. With a fresh user everything works fine. Maybe there is some shadow cashing problem or something like that? |

Did you try deleted your cache? Look in the .kde and/or .kde4 directories in your home folder and delete all the files contained in the directions starting with cache- socket- tmp-

From outside of KDE, have you tried removing the KWin configuration file ( kwinrc ) and removing /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER/?

I logged out, did a telinit 3 to shut down kdm/kde and removed the mentioned files but its still the same. Thats really strange. Are there more caching directorys/files?

Next thing to do is remove /tmp/kde-$USER and /tmp/ksocket-$USER After that, further files in ~/.kde4/ will need to be removed. I suggest starting with share/apps/kwin/ if present ( note that any downloaded Aurorae themes may be in here )
