I have a personalised 3rd level setting for my keyboard, US International (w. dead keys) on openSuse 11.3 with KDE.
I have set the left Win key to select the 3rd level.lv3:lwin_switch

Until updating to KDE 4.5.3 all keys customized for the 3rd level, were responding normally, but a few days ago I discovered that some keys (q,h,j,k) do no longer respond when using the 3rd level using the left Win key.
When pressing both Left Win+Alt everything works ,

This seems a little bit strange to me, since the Alt key has not been selected to switch anything
Another strange behaviour is that I now also have to set the Left Win key for changing the keyboard layout. grp:lwin_toggle

If I don't select this option, the 3rd level key are referred to the 3rd level settings of the default US symbols file, while the US symbols file to be found on the system is the one I customized.

Obviously there has been some change in how the keyboard is handled.
Can anyone tell me whathas been changed?

Best regards,

Ellio
