I don't know how to make them look better..In the way that their are presented they are difficult to read.

I just need the tip of how to fix that in order to change to KDE.

My principal problem is on web navegation and web page texts.

Topic moved to 'Appearance & System Customization'.

What browser are you using? In general, try changing the font rendering options at System Settings -> Application Appearance -> Fonts. There, set the "Use anti-aliasing" value to "Enabled" and click on "Configure". Adjust the hinting style there. If you have an LCD/TFT/LED screen, try altering the sub-pixel rendering options there.

I also recommend that you upgrade your installation to 10.10 running
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

on a terminal. A clean install is better in situation as dist-upgrade may break in a few cases.

Is the issue specific to your browser? What browser do you use?
Can you attach a screenshot?

I do use Firefox..I also have crhomium but I use Firefox allways

Note: I have the same problem with Crhomium too.

And sorry I do not want to bother you guys a lot with this..the question is that just this font problem is the only thing that don't let me use KDE as my main desktop.

I install my Ubuntu 10.04 again..and now I do not have KDE installed..I want to install it
but I do not do it yet because the font problem.
