I am using kde 4.6 on Arch. I have a problem can anyone help me?

1) create and login to a new account, does this problem exist?
2) is it only openOffice and  ? (not sure what the second jpg app shown was), are your KDE apps visually correct?-- do you have the openoffice kde extension package (no idea what it'd be called in Arch)? -- can you try changing both your gtk style and fonts in the "gtk styles and fonts" systemsettings module
