This morning I changed the style of my desktop. I switched my desktop style to gtk. I am no longer able to go into the "application appearance inside of the desktop settings, if i try, the desktop settings just close. I am using arch linux. My question is how can I change the appearance style from a terminal since I am no longer able to go into the menu.
I have restarted several times with no positive results. Thank you very much in advance. |

I think it's file ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals or ~/.kde4/share/config/kdeglobals depending on where your distro puts your kde4 files
the line: widgetStyle=xxxxxx try changing to: widgetStyle=oxygen, but not sure how to get it to be initiated, maybe try restarting kde? |
