Hi,

when I try to update some setting in Login Screen, an authorization login prompt me but it let me choice only normal users so I cannot fill root/pwd.
At the end I cannot change the login screen setting!
Thanks, Donato

This means that root is not authorized to grant permissions with PolicyKit. I recommend checking with your distribution about that, as it is certainly not expected behaviour.

Thank you for comments.
I solved but I didn't understand...
Now I have just one user and the pop up ask for a password (I assume that's the user one... I'm not sure because I use the same pwd for root... I know it's not secure... etc).
Anyway now it works: I'm correctly authorized to complete that action.

thanks

Donato
