Hi.

I am trying to figure out how to enable Alt+Ctrl+Backspace to restart X. I know it's been disabled in my distribution (Kubuntu 10.10). All the instructions I can find on the Internet say "Go to System Settings --> Regional & Language --> Keyboard Layout, etc" but that must be in KDE 4.5.1 which was shipped with Kubuntu 10.10. On my KDE 4.5.5 there's no such option. I believe "Locale" has replaced "Regional & Language," but "Locale" has no options concerning keyboard layouts.

So how can I enable Alt+Ctrl+Backspace on KDE 4.5.5?

Thanks!
Dai

See if you have System Settings -> (Hardware ->) Input Devices -> (Keyboard ->) Advanced.
