Hi there,

is there a way to programmatically disable the screensaver through dbus? Alternatively, disabling the screen lock after exiting the screensaver?

Thanks,

See System Settings > Hardware > Display & Monitor > Screen Saver. Ensure "Require password after" is unticked.

Probably my post was a little unclear in that regard, but I know where the UI setting is located. Instead, I was actually looking for a programmatic way (through dbus) so that I can disable the screen lock from a script when the system signs on to a trusted environment (such as my personal WLAN).

You could locate the file that the screen saver reads and alter it using kwriteconfig and kreadconfig.
