I don't exactly know if this is the correct place to place this question... apologies if any problems are caused...

Anyway... feeling a little nostalgic lateley ^-^ Anyone know where I can get the icons for K.D.E. 2.x? They look nice and would really look good with the theme I have of late...

Thanks for any help :D

I don't know, but KDE 4 implements the FDO icon naming spec, which means icon themes from earlier releases are not directly compatible (although there are tools to mostly convert old themes to new ones).

Thanks for replying «TheBlackCat»... I did know that the naming scheme for K.D.E. 4.x is different from previous versions... I wouldn't really mind renaming them... :D...

Thanks anyway... :D Info is appreciated...

The old KDE files are still in the websvn repository, you can poke around there to see if you can find the icons:

http://websvn.kde.org/tags/KDE/2.2.2/

Is this:

Code: Select all
svn checkout http://websvn.kde.org/tags/KDE/2.0/kdebase/pics/hicolor/

The Way To Go?

It might be easier to just copy and paste it into the dolphin or konqueror address bar. Then you can drag-and-drop. But you need to base it on this address: svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/
