Hey Guys!
Today i started to use awesome in KDE with settings the KDEWM variable, but there are a few Problems. First of all, it looks like Plasma Desktop is not just behind all windows but tries to tile with them. It does not matter how many programs i start or which layout i use, the windows only appear on top half of the screen. I can only use half of my primary monitor for other windows, because the other half is used by Plasma Desktop. I attached a screenshot to make up my explanation ![]() http://h4.abload.de/img/problemscreenshotftvt.png Afterwards every window i create is a floating windows and i have to toggle this manually. Thanks in advance! Florian |

It looks like you use more than one screen, you might be seeing this bug:

connect(post, SIGNAL(readSignature()), qapp, SLOT(quit()));

Alternately, the top panel doesn't look like it is provided by Plasma - is Awesome setting itself as the root window (and thus conflicting with Plasma - which also wants to be the root window)?
