Hi all. I have Fedora 15 which I have upgraded to KDE 4.7 (didn't have this problem in 4.6.5) and I am having a problem with the Oxygen style in some appications (Doesn't happen in all applications). Here is a screenshot of krunner, one of the applications which I am experiencing this problem:

As you can see in the screenshot the checkbox ticks are missing, the buttons have a white border around them, the scrollbar is missing its buttons and there is a black border which I haven't seen before in 4.6.5. Any help to solving this problem will be appreciated. Thanks.

If you create a new user, does it appear unusual there?

Please try disabling Desktop Effects to see if that has any effect.

Can you please confirm that all packages are up to date? The screenshot you are showing seems to indicate that Oxygen isn't being loaded properly.

Hi bcooksley I just did a yum update to check for updates and all packages are already up to date. If it is useful, here is the output of rpm -qa | grep -i -e oxygen -e kde -e qt | sort:

Ok, please file a bug report at bugs.kde.org. I am not sure why this occurs.

Fixed! xD

I switched from using kde-unstable repo to a new kde47 repo for Fedora 15 which is basically the same except it doesn't contain some experimental packages (like qt 4.8 beta 1) and this has fixed the oxygen issue! ;D

More info about this repo
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/kde/2011-August/010009.html

Thanks for all your help bcooksley. Do you still want me to file a bug?

Given that this appears to have been caused by the Qt 4.8 Beta, it shouldn't be needed to file a bug report at this time.
