Massive keybinding remaping

Tue Aug 16, 2011 11:43 am
I'm trying to switch to kubuntu now. It has reasonable default configuration, but still there are big inconvinience in system keybindings. There are pretty much keybindings associated with Alt key, especially resizing/moving with mouse and Alt. This keybindings are already occupied by user-space programs, for example Inkscape and Blender.

What is the easiest way to remap all Alt paths to Win (Meta) paths?

I've tried to find an configurations file for keybindings to replace them all with simple regex, but failed: there seemed no configuration file available.

Where can I find this file or other means for butch processing configuration?

ayvango, hello. You will find the option to change the "Modifier Key" from Alt to Meta in System Settings, under Window Behavior>Window Actions.
