Hello, at the moment I have name, size, date, permissions, owner, group, type, link destination and path for my possible columns in dolphin's details view.

Any way to get it to display something useful?

Like, author, artist, audio codec, tags, no. of pages, framerate...that sort of thing?

This line did say, don't tell me about nepomuk/strigi, but I'm guessing that might be something to do with the answer so...

If you right click on a file, are details about the file shown in the Information tab?

Some of them...

So, audio and video files contain some relevant information like genre, artist, and so on.

Some stuff doesn't show up though. Like, inevitably, pdf documents don't have any information like author, keywords, etc. (Even though my pdfs have loads of metadata)

It's not really helpful to me to have the info show up on individual files on a right click though. I'd really like to be able to have it all visible on all files in a folder at once.
