3D bottom panel as in Mandriva 2011

Thu Aug 25, 2011 11:59 am
Mandriva 2011 has a nice 3D bottom panel. How do one make that happen?

Or is it some kind of a dock?

Thanks! :)

Sorry, I don't have a picture. It looks like a dock in 3D with icons standing. Its pretty nice, really. It would be nice on Chakra.

It looks like that, but its not the same. It must be a special Mandriva one.

Icons are "Rosa Icons" based on "Elementary Icons"

it is called "rocket panel" and was developed by Rosa Labs which is "Russia's center for development of Mandriva" per the Rosa Labs web site, as best as I can tell the sw is only available thru the src rpm http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/searc ... =rosapanel

if you want it you either need to compile (or rmpbuld --rebuild) or request your distro to provide packages

update: compiled fine but think for it to have it's intended functionality you need to have installed additional Rosa Lab widgets (think they have a new menu and a stack widget)
