NON transparent plasma themes?

Tue Oct 04, 2011 2:02 pm
Yes, I know, I'm a strange guy, but I'm feed up with transparency and want a non transparent desktop even with desktop effects enabled.
So I proceeded to disable transparency everywhere and started to look after a non transparent plasma theme (i.e., non transparent panels, non transparent widgets...) but found only one: Big Blue.
(BTW, it's a really nice theme)
So the question is: are there any other non transparent plasma themes? I can tolerate a transparent folder view background, but nothing else! not even a bit! :D
Thanks!

Isn't Aya mostly non-transparent? If you prefer the opaque style of a plasma theme (i.e. when desktop effects are disabled), you can always modify the theme to use the opaque style all the time. A short description can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=96664#p202971

Thanks, Hans. That was quick!
Notifications and tool tips from task bar and system tray are still transparent on aya... ;)
I'll check the solution on the other thread. But if someone knows other themes like Big Blue, please post them.
Thanks again!

A few I've found and verified:
Leichtsinn - if you like white/light-gray
geek, or its light counterpart: geek-light - if you like plain flat (matches color scheme)
Others that look like they may be, but I haven't verified:
Vintage - KDE3 look-alike
win-classic old windows look-alike
