Konqueror's file dialog, that is. The default view is "short view", I like everything on the detailed view, which is much handier. I know it's possible to set it through the drop-down view menu, but I'd like it to be the default, as it's the only one I really use/like.

I tried adding

Code: Select all
ViewMode=konq_detailedlistview

to konquerorrc's mainview, DownloadDialog, and KFileDialog Settings sections, but it didn't work.

Is there some other section that is not explicit on konquerorrc where I could put it? I wonder if it's somewhat like the "copy to/move to" actions, which don't show up on konquerorrc until you set it via GUI. But perhaps for such option there's no way to chanve via GUI, only with this "secret" setting/parameter. Thanks.

Nevermind, I've found the setting. It's on the "KFileDialog" section, but the parameter for some reason is different:

Code: Select all
View Style=Detail
