2 lines panel sorting order

Sun Nov 13, 2011 11:17 am
Hy,

I've been using for the last few years 2 lines on my panel instead of one (mostly for the task manager and quick launch widget)

Every thing was fine until the day they changed the sorting order without it seems any easy way to go back to the old way (when i passed from 4.5 to 4.6 that is).

My question is simple : does anyone know of a way to go back to a colomn based sorting instead of per line?

My english not being perfect here's two pictures to make myself clear

old way (what i want):

new way (what is making me go crasy):

Hope someone can help me out on this , thanks in advance

Oh buddy, it's drive me crazy, too.

When I close an app from the first row, the second row is shifted left, and that's not what I expect. :o

From what I can tell, this is dictated by code inside the Task Manager applet itself, and is not configurable.
