I'm getting really close to having my desktop work just the way I want
by setting up empty panels I can't seem to find workspace switcher system volume or a way to make media keys adjust volume |

workspace switcher = pager widget
system volume = veromix widget if using pulse audio media keys adjust volume = veromix settings -> volume keyboard shorcuts note: if not using pulseaudio you can do pretty much the same with Kmix but it is an app that resides in the system tray not a widget |

the pager widget is just the ticket I'm using alsa & there is a Kmix widget in the stock task tray, which I can't quite seem to reproduce on a blank tray I'm building where would I find a task tray to install |

Kmix is not a widget but an app that resides in the system tray, if you want it in a diff panel then try adding a system tray widget to that panel. fyi - pulse audio is actually way cool as is the veromix widget as it allows you to individually control multiple sound streams playing concurrently
Task manager - open add widgets and search for task (not tasks) depending on what packages you've installed and what is included in your distro you will find: fancy tasks(not working with 4. ![]() ![]() |

the system tray, will at least let me change the main volume I'm using clementine, which lets me set a shortcut still it would be nice to have the media key control both Why would I want to have multiple audio streams playing concurrently? that would be a problem not a solution |
