hi, I am new to KDE and unable to find the available networks like wirless, ethernet or mobile broadband and decide to which one should I connect. Can anyone please help me with this. I use latest Ubuntu 11.10 Oneric Ocelot regularly updated.

Which type of network do you have access to?

Mobile broadband usually only works if your computer has a mobile modem attached to it, or integrated in it.

Wireless or Wired connections should be configured from the appropriate system tray icon.
