I am looking for kbluelock like functionality in kde 4.8.4...but cant find any rpm in opensuse 12.1 that provides this. Do you guys know if this is available and if so which package provides this.

yes. it did exactly that in kde3. i want a similar tool for kde4. blueproximity looks like a gnome applet

Bluedevil replaced KBluetooth (which was broken due to changes in Bluez) during the KDE 4 series. Unfortunately it does not implement system locking at this time.
