It seems the connection between choqok and any other app, or at least with any web browser, is broken. I can't authenticate myself in twitter using OAuth due to that when I press the button Authenticate with Twitter service (by trying to configure a new twitter account on Choqok) Konqueror does not start any new instance. I have tried switching the default web browser in Choqok to Firefox, but it also does not work. I get the same behaviour if I try to configure a new account on identi.ca using AOuth for authenticate my user.
In terminal, by running Choqok, I get this message:
I use Archlinux x86, Choqok git commit 20120801, KDE 4.8.4 and I have installed dbus 1.6.4. This is very annoying, I can't set up my twitter account on Choqok :'c |

So there's no problem in connection between Choqok and Konqueror But there's a problem in your connection to Twitter, Hmm, Check these: 1. Is your system timezone and datetime correct and synced with Twitter settings? 2. Is qca-ossl package installed? (However without this package I think Choqok should Crash )

Yes, I have installed qca-ossl mmmm... perhaps it is due to the timezone and datetime. I had no this problem before, but at the time I had my system synchronized with an NTP server, now I have the clock set at UTC. Let me synchronize with a NTP server and check whether the problem is still there. |

Solved.
I had to install ntp http://www.ntp.org/ and set up an ntp server in KDE's settings [see here] I wonder am I the only one that needs do this to configure a twitter account or a statusnet account (using OAuth) in Choqok? |

No, Actually no body needs to do this! You can just setup your timezone and datetime manually but correct! And the reason for that is because OAuth uses current timestamp as a parameter! and it should be matched between client and server. (Silly parameter huh?)
