Hello,

there's a right-click context menu that appears if I mark text. How can I configure its entries in Konqueror 4.8.3? In particular, I want to remove the Yahoo and YouTube entries from the "search with" submenu and add an entry "translate", that brings up a new tab with the resulting google translation.

Regards,
Boris

These are known as Web Shortcuts, and can be freely configured. Open Konqueror > Settings > Configure Konqueror > Web Browsing > Web Shortcuts. Preferred shortcuts will be made available as search engines from the search bar, as well as in the text selection right click options.

You should be able to add your own custom web shortcut here as well.

^-^ ^-^ ^-^ :) ;D ;D ;D Please know. THANKS!!! I was going crazy because Konqueror right click was wonky. Throwing me up into parent directory most of the time, doing other tricks. I had forgotten fooling around in Konqueror Web settings, because i use Chromium. Great love for Konqueror, and consequent great gratitude. 8-) ;D
