Hi guys,
i'm trying for the first time Linux Mint with Kde; I've found something that seems like a bug..when i start a VPN connection via network manager, nothing happens, but in the "syslog" file i found the following error:

Which Plasma NM version do you use? You can see the version string by clicking on "Manage Connections" then on "Other". That messages indicates NetworkManager was not able to contact a secret agent, the most common reasons for that are:
. Plasma NM is not installed; . kded is not running or Plasma NM's kded module is not loaded; . dbus or polkit are denying access to Plasma NM's kded module's dbus interface. This can happen if you are using systemd-sessiond; . if you are not using systemd then you must use consolekit or the problem above will also happen. I prefer to use consolekit because it is more stable than systemd-sessiond.

Hi,
I solved this issue; in the field "Store connection secrets" i found "In secure storage" instead of "In a file", maybe i swicht this settings scrolling with the mouse. Thank you for your help. |

Hmmm I forgot another case that could explain that message:
. the secrets are not really stored That was your case.
