Lost Rekonq Adblock Easylist

Thu Nov 08, 2012 3:01 am
Hello,
After restoring my home directory, I may have lost Rekonq Easylist for Ad Block. I goofed by leaving Rekonq open while restoring, so I lost my bookmarks for sure. In ~/.kde4/share/apps/rekonq/, I have the following adblock files:
  • adblock
  • adblockrc
  • adblockrules_local
However, Easylist does not show up in the Ad Block settings. Ads also are not filtered unless I manually block them.

Does Rekonq's Adblocker work under a new user?

Yes, it does. It is activated by default, and the box is full of subscription choices.

With Rekonq closed, does moving the three "adblockrc" files you mentioned elsewhere have any impact upon this for your normal user?
The files could be out of sync with the state of Rekonq itself.
