Konqueror and arabic characters

Mon Dec 31, 2012 8:31 am
Hi everybody,

I have konqueror which displays arabic characters in a wrong sense (from left to right instead of right to left). How to fix this?

Everything is fine in others browsers (Firefox ans Opera).

If you enter Arabic characters into other KDE/Qt applications (such as Kate/KWrite) are they shown properly?

I tried to copy/past an arabic sentence into Kate, and it's shown properly.

Are you using the Webkit or KHTML backend? You can determine this quickly from Konqueror > View > View Mode, with any web page open.
