If you launch vncviewer manually, does it work properly?

If you invoke "vncviewer" on a normal x86 / x64 system, does it work as expected?
We need to rule out server problems first, before blaming the client.

Okay, you'll need to either use a different VNC client, or report a bug against it, as the ARM port contains platform specific bugs which prevent it from working properly. As KRDC relies upon the underlying VNC client it invokes to work properly, there is nothing KDE can do i'm afraid.
