After upgrade to kde 4.10.2 konqueror does nt shows the dropdown menus
I see only a black area instead.
If i click many times i can see the menu one time but for the next times it shows the black area again
i have nvidia card and 64bits cpu

this only occurs for Konqueror?

try renaming the konquerrc file and try as a different user

Unfortunately it happens with a different user too



I cannot reproduce it with webkit engine

Another thing you could try - as the style is involved with Konqueror / KHTML and drawing drop downs, is launching Konqueror with a different Qt style, such as Plastique.

Please make sure no other instance of Konqueror is running when you try this - otherwise it will have no effect.

I think that it helps to have less times the black frame but it does nt solve the problem, i still have it.

Okay. You'll probably have to wait for the proper fix then - was worth a shot as a workaround though.
