I've recently switched from Mozilla Firefox to Konqueror with WebKit rendering engine. My problem is: if I click a web link somewhere, then it is not opened directly in Konqueror, but copied somewhere into /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER/krun and then displayed locally in the browser window. Unfortunately, links do not work and some page elements are often broken. How to disable this stupid behaviour?

You should also make sure you have set your preferred browser setting in System Settings > Default Applications to "In an application based on the contents of the URL", and have changed the association for text/html to your preferred browser.
