Thx for reading and possibly answering this post.

I strive to connect 2 PCs, both with OpenSuse 12.3 x86_64 via bluetooth. The bt interfaces are up and running. From bluedevil, I add a new peripheral. Quickly, the icon of the other PC is shown up in the selection dialog box. Then I click on 'next', and a dialog box appears, saying that the connection is running. But normally a 6 digits PIN code should be displayed there, so that I can provide it to the target peer (the other PC), and establish the connection. It works with my android tablet but not with my PC. No PIN code is displayed. However, it works if I manually provide a PIN.

Seems to be a bug, but I'm not sure.

Can you provide a screenshot of the lack of PIN code? It could be a bug, or intended behaviour - the screenshot will clarify which of these is the case.

Sorry, screenshots need to be uploaded to an external provider such as Imageshack, etc for various reasons.
