I am trying to set-up multiple webdavs accounts on the same server on Dolphin. So, there will be user1, user2, etc. all on the same webdavs://server.com.
When I go to Ctrl-L and type webdavs://server.com:2078 and hit enter, I am prompted for a username and password. When I go to Network -- Add Network Folder -- webdav and give a name, username, servername (same as webdavs://server.com:2078/), port as 2078, folder as /, it gives me an error 'unable to connect to server. Check your settings and try again'. This is irrespective of whether I have selected Use encryption or not. This is ODD. A more unstructured method (typing the address in location bar) works, but a more formal, structured method (adding a network folder) doesn't!!?? What is missing? How do I get the expected behaviour?

OK. The answer was simple.
The Knetwork manages does not expect anything in the server name. So, enter server without webdavs:// and without :2048 And that solves the problem!
