Hi all,
how can i disable notifications in kopete even when i'm online? The only way i can turn notifications off is by setting my status to busy or away, is it possible to do it while my status is online? |

Try "Configure" -> "Configure Notifications"
Disable "Show Message in a popup" for every event you wish. |

Does anyone know how to do this in Kubuntu 10.10? (kooopete 1.0.80)
Man is it annoying!!! I get a "[user] is typing a message" in the notification area every 3 seconds...it's driving me nuts!!! |

Doesn't neverendingo's suggestion work? Settings -> Configure Notifications -> Typing message -> uncheck "Show a message in a popup".

Hy!
I've disabled the "Status change" notifications, but Away, and Busy notifications still appear from my msn contacts... What can I do? |

Have you tried restarting Kopete / KDE after making this change? Whilst this shouldn't be needed, it helps to check.
