I installed KDE Webaccounts from the git repo. When open the start und stop KCM it says that the module isn't loaded. If click on start it says it cant load the "accounts" plugin.
If I try to load the module via the dbus metho with qdbus with:
I only get 'true' and nothing heapens. If I call 'qdbus org.kde.kded /kded org.kde.kbuildsycoca.recreate'. I get:
The KCM itself is unuseable and doesn't does anything (only a create button). |

Is anything output to ~/.xsession-errors regarding why kded4 failed to load the module?

Can you try tailing the ~/.xsession-errors file, then issuing the qdbus command necessary to load the module?
Before doing so, please use "kdebugdialog" to enable all possible debug output, to ensure all reasons for failure are output.

Except the usual module not found thing I got only:
>systemsettings(13637) KDEDConfig::getServiceStatus: Could not relate module "accounts-daemon" Maybe I done something wrong while building it: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/kd/k ... t/PKGBUILD ? |

That is rather unusual output - that indicates that kded has successfully loaded the module, but the control module cannot locate it. This is quite unusual, has the web accounts functionality been installed to any non-standard prefix?

As far as I can tell, based on that output the web accounts module is actually loaded. This is despite the control module indicating it isn't loaded - which is incorrect. As for why it is not functioning, I do not know unfortunately as i've never worked with the web accounts functionality before.
I would suggest sending the developers an email enquiring as to how the software should function - perhaps you need to install some other backends or build other repositories which include the actual web account backends to make it truly functional.
