Hey guys, i just need a quicky help with getting this to work.
KDE is working awesome for me, and it amazes how everything is well integrated, now i'm looking to get messaging back into my computer. Supposedly facebook is now using jabber to let others clients connect to their chat servers, I think I've used this before with pidgin. Following the setup guide, from facebook it self and others around the webs: account, password, server and options. ( I can provide the proper info later) It seems that should be connecting but instead I got a notification:
This happens without SSL marked, with it marked kopete complains about not compatible service. So what you think may be going on here? Kopete v 1.4.5 KDE 4.11.3 System is Debian Testing |

From what I recall, Facebook requires certain parts of the Jabber specification which Kopete either handles incorrectly, or doesn't support. I would suggest using KDE Telepathy instead, which does work with Facebook's Jabber service I believe.
