After opening a series of tabs in Chrome, the usage of memory raised rapidly and system get delayed, which is pretty normal
but even if I close bunch of the tabs, used RAM would not get released, as the screenshot shows, only when I close the final tab of the group, memory would get released. This issue only happened in KDE, but not in neither Unity nor GNOME. Anyone can help? |

This isn't a Chrome tab causing the memory usage - but a Chrome application. In any case, you're best to raise this issue with the Chrome folks as this issue is likely caused by their KDE integration if it is related to KDE - and KDE doesn't provide that.

Thanks, I've reported the issue in Chrome forum.

In the advanced settings under System there is a setting to
"Continue running background apps when Chromium is closed" checkbox. (Chrome as well I think) Any difference? |

I have already uncheck the option, so I think this might not be the cause of the problem. |
