Hi,
I am managing Kubuntu for my company and I have little problem. We want to migrate from Kubuntu 12.04 to Kubuntu 1404 during the next months. Everything worked fine in Kubuntu 12.04 and all available configuration files have been taken to the new version for testing. Now after Active Directory Login and getting the Kerberos Ticket and try to browse with dolphin through the network. I can only see one workgroup, but not all domains as before. Nevertheless when I try to access a folder via smbclient and in dolphin by the full MS DFS path I can access the folder. Also it is possible to go directly to smb://domainname/ and see all available DFS paths after giving the credentials. But the domainname is still not visible in Network. Is there a way to change this? Kind regards Malkor |

Can you please clarify which "Network" you're referring to here?
Is it smb:// or network://?

Hmm, as far as I know nothing has changed in the smb:// KIO slave - this means the change was probably in Samba.
Does "nmblookup" return different results between the current and testing systems?
