It's like the title says: I have a .p12 file, which is a certificate I need to do my online banking. Without it, I cannot log into my bank's website. I can import it in Firefox just fine, but if I could use Konqueror or Rekonq instead, that'd be great. Unfortunately, I haven't found any evidence that would suggest that the aforementioned KDE browsers are capable of this. Do they just not have this functionality or did I miss something?

No, it doesn't look like it. It doesn't seem to accept .p12 files, because the "Add..." dialogue just filtered it out when I entered the folder the certificate was stored in. Firefox can't export the certificate in the format it wants, either.

Thanks for the links. Kleopatra is able to import the p12 file and I've checked out the bug report you linked. I've tried the method mentioned and while SSL preferences accepts the exported certificate now, the bank's website still reports that the SSL negotiation has failed. I tried the same method again, this time in PEM format, but the results were the same, unfortunately.

I suspect that Konqueror (and Rekonq) don't support SSL client certificates, so you won't be able to use them unfortunately.

Darn. Would you happen to know if there are any plans to implement this functionality?

I haven't heard of any at this time. Support would have to be implemented within QtNetwork first however, as it handles all SSL support.
