I don't use some email client because the client in browser from my email provider works very effective.
For this reason I am looking for a way how to remplace the email client in the KDE setting through the browser and will ask if it is possible to get / ask for the contents of fields transmitted for the email client so that I can use them in the client in browser from my email provider (gmx.net). |

Sorry, I didn't understand that. What do you want to achieve exactly?
I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

scummos - I think that he wants to be able to use his web based email (not an email client per se) as the default email client in KDE, I'm guessing this isn't doable

thank you for the answers
yes you are right google. the problem is: each time I will contact someone the email client opens and ask I have to register! and doesn't show the email. but the email client in the browser (gmx) is now as performant as the traditional email client in the browser for hotmail! there is no logic reason don't to use it! |

systemsettings - default applications - choose your browser as email client? I haven't tried it but it should be possible...

It certainly won't integrate well, e.g. there's no way for the requesting application to fill in the email address or something. But you can probably configure your browser with the "send mail" URL of the web interface as the email program, yeah.
