Hello,
this might be slightly OT, but I didn't really find a better place (sorry) and it *does* have at least something to do with network I'm logged in from my KDE machine via SSH to a server. On that server, I'm running a script that takes about 5 minutes. I'd like to get a KDE-notification on my local machine from that SSH-session as soon as the script is done. I know I can run
and that works (as long as Konsole is playing back those) but I'd actually prefer not to have audio-notifications enabled in Konsole (which is a global setting). What I'd really like to have is that small notification just like incoming mails or chats popup, which will stay there for 5 seconds (or whatever) and then hide again (but remain in the notification area). I'm still on KDE Platform 4.8.5 (Kubuntu 12.04 LTS) (at work) - is this possible?
