I've recently upgraded to Kubuntu 16.04. I use Konqueror as a file manager. Files do not show a thumbnail on mouse-over any more. It seems like it works for everyone except me. Any idea on config files i can try to hack would be appreciated. I don't even know what files it draws from.
Symptoms: - On hovering cursor over a file, i get a spinning cursor indefinitely and no resulting preview image. - I DO get preview images generally speaking if i select icon view for the folder, but still no pop-up preview. - Previews also work in Dolphin if i click a file (right-side panel loads a preview properly.) Thanks for your help. |

Konqueror hasn't been ported to work with the new KDE technologies.

Great ... and Dolphin still lacks, after so many years of development, some extremely important features such as Profiles, Multi-Split-Windows and File-Size-View. And, at least for me, the session recovery (after a reboot) don't works very well. Where Konqueror opens all Windows with the right paths and the previously selected files are selected, so i know where i left of my work.
