I hope this post is in the correct place. Please move it if it is not. Thanks.
I have been using KDE Neon (currently 5.8, Plasma 5.29.0, Qt 5.7.0, Kernel 4.4.0-57-generic, 64 bit) since August and have been pleased with it. I started using it because Kubuntu and Mint KDE could not mount my network drives connected via USB to my router. Neon did. This was accomplished by installing cifs-utils, creating mount points, and adding this addition to fstab file: //rt-n66u-8060/Storage /media/LAN_WD cifs username=****,password=**** //rt-n66u-8060/Toshiba_Data /media/LAN_Toshiba cifs username=****,password=**** I noticed yesterday (I don't reboot everyday) when I went to load a recent file that these were not mounted. I could mount them by "sudo dolphin", so my files are not totally inaccessible, but this is not convenient. Apparently, a recent update has broken the system. I did notice on one update samba was updated, but I have no idea if that is the problem. My network knowledge is VERY limited. Any suggestions?

I don't know why, but auto mount is back to working today.
