Hi!

Occasionally I use my kde/linux laptop to connect to our companies Samba server. In windows 10 all works honky-dory with kde dolphin sometimes connections work some times the Loading folder... progress is sitting there for ages (half a min, perceived as 10min as normally eg on Windows 10 this really works in the blink of an eye)

Also attempting to open any file directly from a share results in the notification "Examining" with out any progress.

From other posts I see that this is problem has been around for some time. Will this be worked on? Cause this is a real show-stopper.

When I copy from Kubuntu 17.10 Plasma 5.12 to NAS NTFS partition the speed is no more that 300 kB/s. Doing the same from Win10 and the speed is 40MB/s. What is going on here?
