KDEConnect: Hijack connection event

Fri Apr 28, 2017 8:29 am
Hello there,

Short version:
Is it possible to run a script upon connection of a paired device using kdeconnect?

Long version:
Currently I have a cronjob that checks for the respective sftp mountpoint and then calls a script that copies a file to the phone's memory. However, as my phone isn't logged in to the WiFi all the time, one has to be quite lucky for the cronjob to actually be successful.

Now it would be beneficial, if I could run it only then, when the phone connects to the WiFi and therefore establishes a connection to kdeconnect. That happens multiple times each day for me, which would be totally sufficient. Unfortunately I have no idea where to start looking...

Thanks in advance
Felix
