What is "network:/"?

Sat May 13, 2017 3:51 pm
Hi,
In the Dolphin Places group I have "Network" which shows a bunch of links, one of which is called "Network", which is a link to "network:/". When I open that, there's nothing in it so I was just wondering what, if anything, should be in there? I am on a home network with NFS and SMB shares exported by other machines but they do not appear.

Don't worry, I think I've worked it out, according to the page on the kioslaves in the Help Centre: "The network kioslave currently only finds and displays devices and services which are actively advertising themselves using the service discovery framework DNS-SD."
