[SOLVED] Tab-bar in Falkon browser

Sun Jun 10, 2018 8:31 am
Falkon has the option to place a tab-bar on the left side of the screen, with the open tabs arranged vertically. Since most of us use wide-screen monitors this is mostly not used space anyway so placing the tab-bar there is a great thing.
What I would like is to remove the normal tab-bar on top of the screen to gain some extra space for the webpages. I can not find the way how to do that. I don't even know if it is possible. I would expect yes, since you can place a tab-bar on the left of the screen and why should you want to use 2 tab-bars?
It can be that this is not implemented yet so it's a matter of time.
Who knows more about this and can help me?

Thanks.

Go to the extensions dialog, highlight the Vertical tabs plugin. There is a "Settings" button in the bottom left. Click that and check "use as replacement for main tab bar".
