Good morning gentlemen,
after the last update (approximately 370 packages), wifi icon has disappeared.. connection is possible only with wlan cable.
It's the second time it happens; the first time I solved by reinstalling everything from the beginning. :'(
Does anyone have the same problem? does anyone have a way out? thanks all!

I'm having the same issue. Tried everything I've seen suggested so far online but no joy.

Good evening to all,
For the first time, I had issues with my wifi connection. It disappeared after 5.12.6 update.
My laptop is a DELL Latitude E6410, and I just found a very simple solution !
I just plugged a wlan cable, opened synaptic and searched for the networkmanager package.
I forced the re-installation.
After that, I opened konsole in order to type:
sudo apt install && sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade && sudo apt dist-upgrade && sudo apt full-upgrade
and then:
sudo apt autoclean && sudo apt clean && sudo apt autoremove && sudo apt autoremove --purge
I just learned this two new commands, so I tried !
pkcon refresh
pkcon update
I plugged-off the wlan cable and have just reboot...
...and it works !
Wifi is OK !
Hope you'll try this :)
(Sorry for my awful english, I'm french !)
Have a good night with KDE Neon :) tof ;)
