I am unable to connect to any hidden wifi network. I can connect to normal wifi networks without any problem.

When I attempt to connect to a hidden network, it goes up to 'Configuring interface' and then dies a silent death.

I guess it does not even send the password for authentication. I am saying this because for a visible network, if I enter an incorrect password, it asks for the password. But not for a hidden network.

FWIW, I could connect to hidden networks before I installed and uninstalled Cinnamon.

How do I connect to a hidden network?

Hi
Has this been happening just since now of ever? (don't know if this is a fresh install)
Have you tried rebooting the system? I have similar problems with NetworkManager.
